Lost Tortoise Still Missing
Hector, our 40+ year old tortoise has not made a reappearance, unfortunately. If he found a new home with people willing to look after him during the winter hibernation he will be OK, but if he was tramping the wilds I don't hold out any hope for his survival, although instinct is a wonderful thing and he may have found himself a warm and dry place to hide. We will continue to be vigilant this coming spring just in case he surprises someone somewhere. "

Home Safe- home after nearly 3 months lost
Hi, I found him today!!! On a building site next door to me!! He is in a bad way (lost half his body weight and very dehydrated) but he is at the vets today on a drip and doing well - will let you all know how he gets on but he should be home in about 4 days (fingers and paws crossed). I need to thank the three builders responsible (i did thank two of them this morning but the one who rang me yesterday wasn't there so need to speak with all). They have made me the happiest I have been in a long time and Piper owes them his life.
Still in shock and very emotional but fantastic news!!!
Rosemary.

Home Safe after 4 years Missing!

I have had an email about my long lost white cat from someone who has seen a white cat they think is stray. They did a websearch and found my details on your website - thanks.
We have borrowed a trap from the rspca but he is so jumpy I'm not sure if the trap will work and we can't get near enough to him to give him food eta as he just runs away when he sees people. Do you have any other suggestions for catching him?
UPDATE:
Fantastic, unbelievable news… we caught him in the RSPCA trap last night. We bought him home and shut him in the spare room on his own as he was so frightened.
Original details:
Muppet was six months old went he went missing on 28 April 2004 and is coming up for SEVEN YEARS OLD now.

LOST Cat from Caversham, nr Reading, Berkshire
We live in Caversham, near Reading in Berkshire . My cat’s name is Moriarty and he is a 13 year old housecat. No collar and no microchip – he was an ‘indoor’ by choice and we think that he was chased away while pottering in the garden (which is pretty much all he did) on August 26th 2008.

LOST cat from Munster (rural Ottawa), Canada

Rothy has been missing from Munster (rural Ottawa), Ontario, Canada since October 2002. He was born in April 2000. He's a neutered male, long-haired brown tabby with some white and tan patches. Unfortunately he doesn't have a microchip (that I know of). Because he's been gone for so long, I'm mainly asking if you've seen him or taken him in to your home. I just want to know if he's still alive.

LOST cat Broughton St, New Town, Edinburgh
This beautiful little girl is lost and is one year old.
Her twin misses her. She is tabby with longish fur, dark brown and black ontop, then white fur on her belly and legs
She is a housecat and only been in the garden odd times so will probably be hiding but very friendly. She is not wearing a collar and is not microchipped.LOST cat Hemingford Rd, Cambridge, UK

LOST Cat in Woodford Bridge, Essex, UK
He disappeared in the hot weather (summer?) on the 21st July.
We have put up leaflets locally, posted details on the numerous 'missing' websites and put an ad in the paper a couple of weeks ago - with a reported sighting in Chingford, then near Forest School (we rushed round, it was a lost cat - but not him!).
He may be exploring the nearby fields or riverbank. We have searched and called there to no avail - although neighbours opposite are sure they've seen him.
His friend (a ginger tom) pops in through the cat flap to look for him most days too!

FOUND cat in Marholm, Peterborough, UK
A picture will follow shortly but a Tortiseshell cat has been FOUND begging for food by the Fitzwilliam Arms pub, Marholm, Peterborough, UK.
She has been well cared for. Please contact Evening Telegraph, Peterborough, UK (featured in issue Thursday 28 August) if you know her.
Contact 01733 588719 or news@peterboroughtoday.co.uk
Apparently the RSPCA are too full and will only take in sick and injured animals, and there isn't any space for her in any cattery and she cannot stay by the pub.
